Volunteer Today!

Champion a cause that will change the course of someone’s life and make a real sustainable impact toward reducing poverty, crime, and violence in Africa. By lending your time, talents, or resources to disadvantaged young men in African communities you are helping to provide the life-changing skills needed for them to become the compassionate leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers they want to be in their own communities.

Currently mentoring the next generation of leaders in Uganda, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and Congo. Within the next two years, our goal is to continue to expand the mentorship program in these and other new African locations.

  • The Standing With Boys program is an 32 week self development course taught weekly to disadvantaged boys and young men in African communities that are drastically effected by high rates of crime, violence and poverty.

Each lesson includes discussions and activities that help build up students self-esteem, conflict management skills, and compassionate leadership skills.

Classes are taught by local African community leaders, teachers, and professional volunteers in schools, churches, community out-reach events, sprots games, and in prisons.

Volunteer professionals can also lend their time and talents to teach vocational skills to students. These workshops can include introductions to new career paths or developing marketable job skills to help improve employment opportunities.

If you would like to teach the Standing With Boys Program in your African community Please fill out the application below.

  • Many of our male students come from broken homes, single parent homes, or no homes at all. These young men often lack examples of positive masculinity during their formidable years. We need more upstanding male volunteers to help break down harmful gender norms and lead the way towards a more compassionate, equitable, and prosperous community for all.

    1. Be a trusted and reliable member of your community (Male volunteers and married couples encouraged)
